Allied Universal in District Heights, MD is seeking a Security Officer for full-time store patrol. You will monitor and patrol financial institution locations, provide exemplary customer service, and maintain a visible security presence.

• Document observations and patrol activities per site requirements.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Store Patrol in District Heights, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with professionalism and integrity. Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the financial institution location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, helping to deter unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and policy violations.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
