Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Delray Beach, FL. You will patrol, deter incidents, assist tenants and visitors, and deliver professional customer service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a guard card, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must be 18+ (21+ for armed roles) and able to pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, maintenance-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns while maintaining a professional presence at the property.

• Mon - 05:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Tue - 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Wed - 05:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Thur - 05:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Fri - 03:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
