Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Front Desk Driver in Pleasanton, CA. This full-time role involves greeting visitors, verifying identifications, monitoring access, and delivering exceptional customer service in a healthcare location.

Requires at least one year of security experience and a valid driver’s license. CPR/First Aid is preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 06:30 AM–03:00 PM, at $26.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide front desk reception, greet visitors, verify identifications, and issue visitor credentials.
• Monitor access, direct calls, and communicate with site contacts about arrivals.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies per established procedures.
• Deter unauthorized access and report security concerns to site leadership.
• Support healthcare location operations with customer service.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and reception desk protocols in a healthcare laboratory location.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records in accordance with site policies.
• Monitor access to the facility, receive and direct incoming calls, and communicate with appropriate site contacts regarding visitor arrivals and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity, access concerns, and security-related incidents to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
