Job summary

Allied Universal in Rosemont, IL is seeking a part-time Security Officer Driver Dispatch to serve clients at a financial institution. This role combines on-site security presence with coordinating communications and incident response.

You will drive patrols, monitor alarms and dispatch channels, document incidents, and support timely responses while maintaining a courteous, professional demeanor with employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor incoming calls, alarms, communications systems, and/or dispatch channels; prioritize information and coordinate the response of on-site personnel to routine and critical incidents.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, visitor information, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts, management, and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter as assigned to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
