Pay rate is $19.45 per hour. The role supports a fixed anchor shift with additional optional shifts, offering up to 40 hours per week when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license (preferred).
• Guard card or license (preferred).
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and property perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; report unusual activity and hazards.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities and communicate with leadership.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Vehicle Patrol Driver in Albuquerque, NM, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures; report unusual activity, property concerns, and maintenance‑related hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security‑related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess a state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license, preferred.
• Possess a guard card or license, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
