Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, employees, vendors, and transportation personnel while carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of parking areas, shuttle pickup locations, entry and exit points, facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic, observe parking operations, and report hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and emergencies calmly and following established procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in Los Angeles, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.28 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to guests, employees, vendors, and transportation personnel while carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of parking areas, shuttle pickup locations, entry and exit points, facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic, observe parking operations, and report hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
