Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in North Hollywood, CA. The role provides flexible, dependable hours with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

The position offers a pay rate of $21.00 per hour and requires a six-month site commitment with potential to grow into a full-time schedule up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of vehicle storage areas, auction lanes, office spaces, parking areas, gates, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and vendor traffic in accordance with site procedures, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, vehicle-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Support in North Hollywood, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 09:00 AM – 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
