Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site policies and emergency procedures at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeters to report unusual activity.
• Monitor access, verify authorized entry, and maintain professional interactions with visitors and staff.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report to site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Prepare clear activity and incident reports and update supervisors and site representatives.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Incident Reporting in Miami, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.53 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site‑specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify authorized entry as directed, and maintain professional interactions with visitors and personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel when required.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• A college degree is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
