As a Security Guard Part Time Clinical Security in Delray Beach, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate:

$17.91 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site leadership, healthcare staff, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and security‑related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as needed.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
