Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Hospital Medical Operations in Delray Beach, FL. You will serve patients, visitors and staff in a healthcare setting, with a flexible schedule and the opportunity to explore new shifts using our Claim a Shift platform.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct patrols, deter incidents, monitor access points, and document observations while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing individuals to appropriate departments while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document observations, incidents, and unusual activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
