Job summary

GardaWorld Security in Wilmington, NC is seeking a dedicated Concierge Security Guard to deliver exceptional customer service, verify identities, and manage access for visitors across office towers, hotels, and retail spaces.

This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.58, DailyPay option, comprehensive benefits, and uniform provided. 90-day incentive of $500 is offered, with background checks and drug screening after offer. Career growth opportunities are available.

• Active PPSB license or the ability to attend the 16 hour unarmed training course to obtain your security license.

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer – Concierge, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

Responsibilities of a Concierge Security Guard

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors


• Manage access control


• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks


• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs


• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams


• Answer questions in person or by phone


• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns


• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications for Concierge Security Guard

• Must have an active PPSB license or the ability to attend the 16 hour unarmed training course to obtain your security license!


• Must have CPR First Aid & AED or be willing to obtain.


• Must be over the age of 18 years old.


• Be authorized to work in the U.S.


• Must have at least 1 year of security experience.


• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED


• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process


• Exceptional customer service skills


• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills


• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!


• You have a state license if required
