Job summary

GardaWorld Security is seeking a Security Officer – Concierge in Wilmington, NC. You will deliver exceptional customer service while controlling access and guiding visitors in office towers, hotels, and shopping centers.

This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.58, a 90-day incentive of $500, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus retirement savings and paid holidays. Uniforms are provided.

Qualifications

• Active PPSB license or ability to obtain the 16 hour unarmed training course to obtain your security license
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Must be over 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Minimum 1 year of security experience
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Able to pass an extensive screening process
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• State license if required

• Site Location: Wilmington, NC
• Full-Time Schedules Available
  • Saturday - Sunday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM |Monday - Tuesday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM = 32 hour shift
  • Wednesday - Sunday, 2:00PM - 10:00PM = 40 hour shift
  • Friday - Tuesday, 10:00PM - 06:00AM = 40 hour shift
  • Wednesday - Sunday, 10:00PM - 06:00AM = 40 hour shift
• Competitive hourly wage:

Responsibilities Of a Concierge Security Guard

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications For Concierge Security Guard

• Must have an active PPSB license or the ability to attend the 16 hour unarmed training course to obtain your security license!
• Must have CPR First A&D or be willing to obtain.
• Must be over the age of 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
