The Diocese of Orlando seeks a Security Guard Coordinator to help maintain a safe environment for parishioners, staff, and visitors at the campus in Leesburg, Florida. The role coordinates schedules, monitors procedures, and serves as a liaison with parish administration and law enforcement.
You will engage in door alarms, camera monitoring, safety checklists, and emergency preparedness, working with Maintenance to keep exits and lighting operational.

This position supports parish safety and security operations by coordinating schedules, monitoring security procedures, and serving as a liaison with parish administration, maintenance staff, and off‑duty law enforcement personnel.

Work is performed both indoors and outdoors and may require evening, weekend, and special event hours. This role requires frequent interaction with parishioners, students, visitors, staff, vendors, and law enforcement personnel. Must be willing to work under pressure and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
The ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to reach, grasp, feel, and see both near and far distances. Requires the ability to monitor facilities and move throughout campus areas as needed. Tasks may involve light lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of materials weighing up to 15 pounds. Must be able to operate office and security‑related equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation, and communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
