This is a part-time position on weekends
The Maintenance Helper assists with general maintenance, custodial, and basic repair tasks to support the safe and effective operation of parish facilities. This role provides support to maintenance staff by performing routine cleaning, assisting with minor maintenance activities, and helping with event setup and general facility upkeep.

The working hours of this position are not limited to an 8-hour day. This person will need to be available in the evening and weekends, as needed. Must be willing to work in conditions of stress and function well under pressure.
Tasks involve the ability to exert heavy physical effort in heavy work, with greater emphasis on climbing 15 feet and balancing, but typically also involving some combination of stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, and the lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials up to 30 pounds.
