Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Bicycle Patrol Ambassador in Houston, TX. The role involves unarmed bicycle patrols at a commercial real estate site, providing excellent customer service to tenants and visitors, and reporting security-related concerns.

Schedule is Monday to Friday 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with full-time benefits and growth opportunities. Minimum requirements include the ability to ride a bike, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a background check.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and staff by following site procedures and access-control rules.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and suspicious activity in a calm, professional manner and document observations.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with orderly entry/exit operations.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports per policy.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine bicycle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit operations.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to ride a bike.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
