Job summary

Generations is seeking a full-time Security Guard for Cherrywood Village in Oregon. You will maintain a safe campus and provide a security presence while delivering courteous service to residents, families, providers, and visitors.

The role requires independence, strong responsibility, and good communication. Candidates with security or customer service experience, a Guard Card, and CPR/First Aid training are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or desirable.
• Previous security or customer service experience preferred.
• Guard Card preferred; CPR/First Aid training available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence and campus safety.
• Provide courteous customer service to residents, families, and visitors.
• Enforce safety policies and respond to incidents as needed.

Job description

The Security Guard at Cherrywood Village is responsible for maintaining a safe campus and a security presence while working in the community. Provides customer service to residents, family members, providers, and visitors/guests. Expected to work independently with a high level of responsibility. Decision-making is required regularly.

Schedule

• Full-time
• 8-Hour Shifts
• Must have weekend and holiday availability

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in security or customer service is desirable.
• A current Guard Card is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification training is available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient.
