Job summary

Generations is hiring a Housekeeper at Cherrywood Village in Oregon to maintain cleanliness in residents' apartments and community areas. You will support a home-like atmosphere, care for equipment, and follow safety standards as part of a mission-driven team.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required; CPR/First Aid certification is required or training provided on hire. Generations offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification, training available on hire.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service residents' apartments, common areas, guest rooms, and offices.
• Change linens in apartments as scheduled.
• Possible laundry duties.
• Spot clean carpets as needed.
• Ensure efficient apartment turnover when residents move out.
• Report repairs and coordinate with staff.
• Support residents to maintain a home-like atmosphere.
• Execute any other duties as assigned.

The Housekeeper at Cherrywood Village maintains cleanliness standards in resident apartments and community common areas. Our housekeeping team is an integral part of creating a home-like environment for every resident. Housekeepers care for and maintain all equipment and tools used in daily work. Complies with federal, state, and local standards for facility operation. Incorporates the Generation's Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning and servicing resident's apartments, common areas, guest rooms, and offices.
• Change linens in apartments as scheduled.
• May have laundry duties.
• Spot clean carpets as needed.
• Service apartments as they become vacant. Ensure efficient apartment turnover.
• Reviews the physical environment of the facility regularly and direct requests for repair and replacement.
• Assists personnel and residents in establishing a home-like atmosphere
• All other duties assigned.

Schedule

Monday - Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid, training available upon hire.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and follow written and oral instructions in the English language.
• Experience in housekeeping is preferred, but not required.
