Allied Universal® is hiring a Part Time Unarmed Security Guard in Bristol, Indiana. You will protect client sites, monitor access, and patrol assigned areas while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a visible security presence.

The role offers part-time hours with day and night shifts. Minimum requirements include being 18+ for unarmed positions, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screenings where permitted.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular/random patrols of interior/exterior areas to identify unusual activity and hazards.
• Monitor entry/exit activity, verify authorized access, and maintain logs/reports of patrols and incidents.
• Communicate professionally with site stakeholders and Allied Universal leadership to maintain a welcoming, orderly environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related hazards.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports of patrols, incidents, and observations.
• Communicate professionally with site stakeholders and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming, orderly environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
