• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials per site procedures, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized persons.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security observations accurately and communicate with Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Guard - Armed - Full Timein Toledo, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements and an armed guard card or license. Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 12:30 PM - 06:30 PM Wed 12:30 PM - 06:30 PM Thur 10:30 AM - 06:30 PM Fri 06:30 AM - 06:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of manufacturing areas, office spaces, parking areas, access points, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized persons to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
