Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Atlanta, GA to provide dependable armed security at a designated site with fixed shifts and optional extra shifts.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter areas in accordance with applicable laws, training, and site procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting additional support when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required activity logs while helping to deter criminal activity and support orderly operations.

As a Security Guard Armed Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
