Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring an Armed Driver Patrol Officer in McAllen, TX. You will perform armed patrols, respond to incidents, and help maintain a welcoming environment while upholding company values.

The role requires a valid Texas driver’s license, Level III Armed Certification, and a focus on professional customer service. This is a full-time position with a pay rate of $14.00 per hour and a schedule Fri-Sun.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by following armed security procedures.

• Conduct armed patrols of the retail location and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with smooth flow of people and vehicles on site.
• Document incidents accurately and communicate to leadership and site representatives.

As a Security Guard Armed Driver Mobile Patrol in McAllen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification. Job Schedule:

• Fri: 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sat: 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sun: 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to retail location clients, customers, and employees by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail store, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and assist with the orderly flow of people and vehicles at the location.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
