A Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Temple, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies at a retail grocery location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store interior, exterior, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points, deliveries, and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures, maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and policy violations, while coordinating with store management and law enforcement when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
