• Maintain patrol logs and incident reports in compliance with laws and policies.

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required documentation, including patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, while complying with applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in San Marcos, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s values of integrity, teamwork, reliability, agility, and care.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
