Qualifications

• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain patrol activity, incidents and daily reports in accordance with site policies.

As a Security Guard - Armed Driver in Temple Terrace, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.58 / Hour

Job Schedule: Friday 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of financial institution facilities, access points, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required documentation, including patrol activity, incidents, and daily reports, while following Allied Universal and site‑specific policies for assigned equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
