What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at a government location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, screen authorized visitors according to established procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and access logs.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned government facilities, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports for incidents, access‑control activity, and policy violations while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security‑related experience.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
