Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Cleared Security Officer Access Control in Westminster, CO to protect clients across Tech/Media/Telecom sites. You will monitor access points, perform routine patrols, and deliver excellent customer service while maintaining security procedures and site rules.

Applicants should have an active DoD Secret clearance (preferred CPR/First Aid) and be at least 18. A high school diploma is required; background checks and drug screening apply.

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors per site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior, exterior, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and assist visitor/contractor entry procedures per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, problem-solving approach.
• Maintain professional presence to deter unauthorized access and security concerns.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $28.68 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Assist with maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
