Job summary

Pilgrim’s Guntersville plant is seeking a Security Guard for 1st shift to monitor plant activity, inspect trailers, and oversee parking lot operations. Responsibilities include hourly rounds, weight checks, and ensuring security protocols are followed.

The role requires English literacy, ability to work various shifts, and basic computer skills. Prior security experience is a plus, with a minimum high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk more than one mile on varying terrain in all weather.
• Ability to perform tasks without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Answering switchboard after hours.

• Receive shipments of supplies and raw materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a 1st shift security guard, Pilgrim’s Guntersville, AL to be part of the security team, to monitor traffic in and out of the plant. Inspect trailers and monitor the parking lot activity.
