Job summary

COFORGE is seeking an experienced security personnel to monitor all persons and/or vehicles entering or leaving our facility property. The role starts with a salary starting at $15.00 per hour, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus for full-time employment.

Benefits include a comprehensive package, 401K with matching, paid holidays and PTO, plus shift differentials for 2nd, 3rd and weekend shifts. HS diploma or GED required and at least two years in security or related fields.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Two or more years’ experience in security, corrections or military.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all persons and/or vehicles entering or leaving facility property.
• Assist, direct and monitor all persons entering and leaving the facility property.
• Keep accurate log books, as required.
• Direct emergency personnel arriving on facility property and maintain flow of traffic during emergencies.

This Position Requires

• HS Diploma or GED required
• Professional and courteous demeanor
• Basic computer knowledge for emails/charting
• Acceptable driver's license preferred, but not required

Responsible for monitoring all persons and/or vehicles entering or leaving facility property.

Essential Functions

• Assist, direct and monitor all persons entering and leaving the facility property.
• Keep accurate log books, as required.
• Direct emergency personnel arriving on facility property and maintain flow of traffic during emergencies, such as fire drills.
• Communicate incoming admissions, visits and deliveries to appropriate staff.
• Monitor parking area to ensure that no loitering or misconduct takes place, monitor lobby area and do frequent sweeps of the entire facility.
• Interact with staff and patients in a professional manner at all times.
• Report any suspicious behavior to the CEO, supervisor or a member of leadership.

Other Functions

• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skill Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years’ experience in security, corrections or military.

Licenses/Designations/Certifications

• Valid state driver's license.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility.
