Securitas USA in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Security Guard - Full Time to patrol premises, monitor access, and respond to incidents. No experience required; training provided. Wage is $21.00 per hour with shifts Tue-Fri 10pm-6am, Sun-Thu 2pm-10pm, or Tue-Sat 2pm-10pm.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, and entry points to identify security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.
• Control building access by verifying IDs and managing visitor logs.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, and incidents.
• Enforce security protocols, company rules, and regulations.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and equipment to prevent unauthorized access.
• Investigate suspicious activities and security breaches.

• 1) Tuesday - Friday 10pm-6am
• 2) Sunday - Thursday 2pm-10pm
• 3) Tuesday - Saturday 2pm-10pm

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.

• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
