Job summary

Phat Panda in Spokane Valley is seeking a Security Officer to help safeguard our Grow Op facility, our team, and company assets. You'll monitor surveillance systems, walk the perimeter, and keep tabs on who is coming and going. If you have a security, military, or law enforcement background and take pride in a job well done, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security cameras and observe employee activity throughout the facility.
• Conduct regular indoor and outdoor perimeter checks.
• Oversee building access and entry/exit procedures.
• Watch for theft or policy violations and report them.
• Support Research & Development projects as needed.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Location: Spokane Valley, WA — right off I-90

Pay: $17.63 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Tuesday–Friday, 12:00 PM–11:00 PM (10-hour shifts with a 1-hour lunch break, 40 hours/week)

Experience: 1–3 years of security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred

What You'll Be Doing

• Monitor security cameras and keep an eye on employee activity throughout the facility
• Conduct regular indoor and outdoor perimeter checks
• Oversee who has access to and from the building
• Watch for and report any theft or rule violations
• Pitch in on Research & Development projects as needed
• Take on additional duties as assigned

What You'll Need

• Must be 21 or older (required under Washington's I-502 regulations)
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent practical work experience
• 1–3 years of security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and comfortably navigate stairs or elevated warehouse mezzanines
