Job summary

The Peninsula Regent in California is seeking a dependable Security Guard to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and team members. You will patrol the community, respond to emergencies, document incidents, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in security, customer service, law enforcement, military, or related fields preferred.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond appropriately in emergencies.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

What You'll Do

• Patrol the community and monitor buildings, grounds, and parking areas to ensure safety and security.
• Respond to emergencies, incidents, and resident requests in a calm and professional manner.
• Document security activities, incidents, and observations accurately and completely.
• Provide exceptional customer service while assisting residents, visitors, and team members.
• Support community safety procedures, access control, and emergency response protocols.

About You

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous security, customer service, law enforcement, military, or related experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented approach.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
• Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and maintain confidentiality.

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 / hr DOE
