Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) in Nampa, ID, is seeking a security professional to perform guard and patrol duties to protect life and property in accordance with federal and center directives. This full-time role features a Wednesday–Sunday schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM and an hourly wage of $19.25.

You will monitor access, report incidents, assist with student transport, and support programs that ensure safety and accountability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and one year security or completion of a security training program preferred.
• Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency required.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the physical security of buildings, center vehicles, and property by checking doors, windows, lights, electrical appliances, equipment, locks, and emergency equipment.
• Maintaining logs, incident reports, and conducting investigations.
• Perform parking and traffic control.
• Assist in transporting students, and reporting and suppressing fires.
• Assist senior security officer and manager in coordinating and instituting programs that foster student retention.
• Assure accountability of students, staff, and visitor check-out and check-in proceedings by scheduling coverage.
