Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The associate is responsible for the following duties, among others as assigned:

• Conduct frequent patrols of the facilities and complete safety and security checks.
• Perform foot patrols to identify safety and security concerns.
• Tour the buildings and grounds, checking doors, windows, and gates for security.
• Report any incidents, concerns, or relevant information to the supervisor.
• Maintain all security standards, policies, and procedures; report suspicious activity.
• Secure doors, windows, and gates; prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Complete shift reports following the guidelines.
• Attend required staff meetings and training sessions.
• Act as liaison with police on mutual issues, if necessary.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not involve direct supervision of associates.

Qualification Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates must be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily. Requirements include:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least three (3) years of experience in warehouse distribution, security, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
