Responsibilities

Employment Solutions is seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Security Officer for a tobacco manufacturing company in the Opa-Locka area. We are looking for a dependable and professional individual with strong observational skills who is committed to maintaining a safe and secure work environment.

Summary:

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting company property, employees, and visitors by monitoring facility access, conducting routine patrols, identifying security risks, and reporting any unusual activity. This position plays a key role in maintaining a safe manufacturing environment while ensuring company security policies are followed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine foot patrols throughout the facility to identify and report security or safety concerns
• Monitor and control access to the facility for employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors
• Inspect doors, gates, and building entrances to ensure they are properly secured according to company procedures
• Monitor arrivals and departures of company vehicles, vendor trucks, and contractors while maintaining accurate security logs
• Observe and report irregular situations, equipment issues, fire hazards, or safety concerns to the Security Supervisor
• Prepare daily activity and incident reports while maintaining accurate documentation
• Enforce company security policies and respond appropriately to emergencies or unusual situations
• Perform other security-related duties as assigned

Requirements / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
• Minimum 1-3 years of security experience
• Valid Florida Class D Security Officer License required
• Ability to communicate professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, and management
• Strong observation, reporting, and problem-solving skills
• Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
• Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods of time

Schedule:

Rotating Schedule: Three weeks 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM and one week 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (Monday - Friday)

Pay:

$17.00 per hour
