Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. is seeking a Security Guard to cover the PM shift in Los Angeles. You will patrol facilities, monitor CCTV, greet people, and enforce site rules to deter incidents and support safe operations.

The role requires 1–2 years in security, a valid Guard Card, and a valid driver’s license, with strong communication and the ability to work independently. Training on emergency protocols and life-safety systems is provided.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a security guard or similar role.
• Valid Guard Card is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain vigilance throughout the shift.
• Familiarity with security systems, including CCTV and fire panels, is preferred.

As a Security Guard working the PM shift, you will play a vital role in protecting property, deterring unauthorized activity, and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned physical property and an additional lot located approximately 10 minutes from the main site.
• Maintain a professional image by greeting customers, visitors, and employees in a polite and friendly manner.
• Monitor security cameras and equipment to ensure continuous surveillance.
• Report and document any suspicious, criminal, or unauthorized activity, and complete daily activity reports, logbook entries, and incident reports as required.
• Maintain knowledge of emergency policies, procedures, and regulations to respond effectively to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations.
• Operate and understand life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV systems, and related equipment.
• Ensure secure operation of all access points and enforce client-established rules and regulations.
• Meet with authorized contractor personnel responsible for equipment maintenance and upkeep.
• Communicate regularly with the warehouse manager or designated leadership regarding safety issues or changes.
• Make recommendations to management on improving safety processes and loss prevention.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to situations requiring immediate attention.
• Assist with driver registration and follow company protocols as assigned.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as needed to support site security.

Compensation
