Job summary

Cypress Village in Jacksonville, FL, a Life Care Services community, is hiring for security roles with full-time and part-time options. Candidates must hold a D Class license and CPR/First Aid certification, and be available on weekends.

Qualifications

• D Class License is required.
• CPR/First Aid is required; renewal is acceptable.
• Must have weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Respond to the emergency response system following standard operating procedures, including door unlock log, e-call log, and doctor run sheets.
• Perform scheduled rounds both inside and outside of the buildings to maintain a secure environment.
• Maintain timely, accurate reports and logs, including but not limited to incident reports, safety inspections, repair and service requests, emergency call logs, and doctor run sheets.
• Immediately notify appropriate personnel of all emergencies, including but not limited to the Executive Director and/or Administrator, Department Heads, Supervisor, and Health Center Charge Nurse.
• Assist management with maintaining marketing and other community events to provide traffic direction, guest check-in, parking, and security as needed.
