Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Respond­er Security Officer for a full-time position in Hillsboro, OR. The role includes access control, patrols, incident reporting, and collaboration with a security team to protect client assets and people.

The candidate should be at least 18, with a high school diploma or GED, and have strong computer skills. Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus, and several shift options are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate when needed.
• Conduct access control at security entrances/exits.
• Patrol inside and outside the client premises in various weather and terrain.
• Interact with client employees and guests regularly.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports of incidents and observations.
• Work in a team to achieve site goals daily.
• Carry out tasks similar to those required for the site.

Responder Security Officer — Full Time — Hillsboro, OR

Wage : $22.00/HR

Available Schedule :

1) Tuesday - Saturday 2pm-10pm

2) Friday/Saturday 3pm-11pm, Sunday/Monday 2pm-10pm

3) Friday/Saturday 7am-3pm, Sunday/Monday 6am-2pm

• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.

• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.

• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.

• Provide detailed written reports.

• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.

• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.

• Strong computer / technology skills needed.

• 6 months prior Security experience preferred.

• Customer service background preferred.

• Prior Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!

• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.

• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.

• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
