Stellar Senior Living is seeking a diligent Security Guard to protect residents, staff, and property at a large senior living community in Helena, MT. You will monitor entrances, patrol the building, and respond to alarms during overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completion.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and work well with others.
• Proven experience as a security guard or similar role.
• Diploma in security training preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of public safety and security procedures.
• Attention to detail with strong surveillance skills.
• Demonstrates integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Protect property and staff by maintaining a safe, secure environment.
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
• Act lawfully in defense of life or property.
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences and develop leadership reports.
• Report in detail (verbal and written) any suspicious incidents.
• Patrol building and perimeter on a routine and random basis.
• Monitor and control access at entrances and vehicle gates.
• Watch alarms and video systems and operate emergency equipment.

Job Description

Our Maintenance Director oversees keeping our residents living areas well-kept and serviced to high standards. You should also be able to resolve resident complaint and queries promptly and in a polite manner. You are the right candidate if you are pleasant, detailed oriented and friendly.

Responsibilities

• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment

• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences and develop reports for use by leadershipReport in detail (verbally and in written form) any suspicious incidents
• Patrol building and perimeter randomly and regularly
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
• Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to communicate verbally and in written form and cooperate effectively with others
• Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position
• Trained security officer with diploma preferred but not required.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills with orientation to detail
• Integrity and professionalism
