Job summary

Stellar Senior Living in Helena, MT is seeking a diligent Security Guard for a large senior living community. You will help protect residents, staff, and property, patrol premises, control access, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

We offer overnight shifts 10pm-6am, competitive hourly pay, benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays and a 401k, plus opportunities for advancement within a growing company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and cooperate with others
• Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position
• Trained security officer with diploma preferred but not required
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills with attention to detail
• Integrity and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences and develop reports for leadership
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Patrol building and perimeter randomly and regularly
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
• Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment

We are seeking a diligent Security Guard to join our team at a large senior living community in Helena, MT. Come join a team of dedicated, smart, and caring professionals as they work together to care for our seniors and provide them the lifestyle they deserve.

Job Description

Our Maintenance Director oversees keeping our residents living areas well-kept and serviced to high standards. You should also be able to resolve resident complaint and queries promptly and in a polite manner. You are the right candidate if you are pleasant, detailed oriented and friendly.
