Job summary

Mint Cannabis in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Security Guard to protect staff, patients, and facilities. You will monitor entrances, patrol premises, respond to incidents, and keep detailed logs to ensure a safe, compliant environment.

Evening and overnight shifts are available with differential where applicable. Candidates should have at least 1 year of security experience, be 21+, possess a valid ID, and be able to pass a background check as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of security experience (retail, events, or facility)
• Strong observation and situational awareness skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid government-issued ID and ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter theft, vandalism, or suspicious activity
• Monitor entrances, exits, and facility access to ensure only authorized personnel and customers are on-site
• Enforce all security protocols, company policies, and state cannabis compliance requirements
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents
• Provide first aid or emergency assistance when necessary
• Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests and helping staff and patients feel at ease
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of all security-related activities
• Travel between store locations as needed for support and coverage

Pay Range: Unarmed Security $16.00 - $18.00hour | Armed Security $18.00 - $20.00hour

Schedule: Evening and overnight shifts available. Overnight shift differential offered where applicable.
