Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities in Easton, Maryland, is looking for a part-time Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of the community. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, experience in security, and must be able to obtain a Security Guard Certification. Benefits include next-day pay, health insurance, 401(k) plan, and more. This position involves patrolling buildings and monitoring the gatehouse to support residents and team members during evening and night hours.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Guard Certification, if employed in Maryland.
• Prior security and/or emergency response experience is preferred.
• CPR, AED, & first aid certification (to be obtained within the 3-month introductory period).

Responsibilities

• Ensure security and safety by patrolling the buildings and grounds.

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Security Guard position.

Under minimal direct supervision, this role ensures the security and safety of the community by patrolling the buildings and grounds and monitoring the gatehouse. Provides support during the evening and night hours for residents and team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior security and/or emergency response experience is preferred
• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Guard Certification, if employed in the state of Maryland (or obtain within the 3-month introductory period)
• CPR, AED, & first aid certification (or obtain within the 3-month introductory period)
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license

Pay Range

$17.00 - $25.57 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
