Job summary

Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center seeks a security officer to maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors and staff. You will assist in deescalating violent incidents, patrol parking areas, report issues, and protect hospital property.

As an active member of the fire brigade, you will contribute to emergency response while ensuring a safe, professional environment for all occupants and visitors. This role is on-site at the Fort Duncan facility.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in loss prevention preferred.
• Licensure: non-commission security officer.
• Valid Class C Driver’s License.
• High School graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors and all hospital personnel and medical staff.
• Assist in controlling any violent patients, visitors, or employees.
• Patrol parking lots and report any problems, ensuring vehicles are correctly parked.
• Protect the Medical Center building, assets, and premises as assigned.
• Serve as an active member of the fire brigade.
