Job summary

Universal Hospital Services Inc. seeks an on-site security officer to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities include patrolling, controlling potentially violent individuals, monitoring parking, and supporting the fire brigade; requires a High School diploma and a valid Class C driver's license.

Qualifications

• Experience: One (1) year experience in the loss prevention preferred.
• Licensure, Certification, Registration, etc.: Non-commission security officer.
• Special Skills, Knowledge: Valid Class C Driver's License.
• Education: High School graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors and hospital personnel.
• Assist in controlling violent individuals and manage visitor behavior.
• Patrol parking lots and monitor vehicle parking.
• Report problems and patrol area; participate in fire brigade activities.
• Protect the Medical Center building, assets and premises.

Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining a secure environment for patients, visitors and all hospital personnel and medical staff. Assist in controlling any violent patients, visitors, or employees. Responsible for controlling visitors, patrolling parking lots, assuring that vehicles are correctly parked. Patrol area and report any problems. Serves as an active member of the fire brigade. Protect the Medical Center building, assets, and premises as assigned.
