Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital is seeking a Security Guard to maintain safety and security across the facility, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

You will support staff, patients, and visitors, prepare timely security reports, and enforce hospital policies in compliance with laws. Requires high school diploma, Class D license, BLS and CPI certifications; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security of the facility and protect persons and property.
• Secure the premises from unauthorized entry and monitor access points.

• Provide support and assistance to staff, patients, and visitors while enforcing policies.

Responsibilities

The Security Guard maintains the safety and security of the facility, secures the premises from unauthorized entry, provides support and assistance to staff, patients and visitors, prepares and submits reports in an accurate and timely manner, performs general duties in the protection of persons, property, and enforcement of all applicable policies, rules and regulations of Manatee Health, Federal, State, and Local Laws, demonstrates Service Excellence at all times, and performs other duties as assigned.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - Required
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification - Required
