Job summary

Universal Health Services in Texas is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment for the Psychiatric Department, patients, visitors and staff. You will monitor entrances, patrol corridors and parking lots, and assist in restraining or diverting at-risk individuals as needed.

This role requires a valid Class C driver's license, a high school diploma, and at least one year of loss prevention experience.

Qualifications

• Experience: One (1) year experience in the loss prevention preferred.
• Licensure, Certification, Registration, etc.: Non-commission security officer.
• Special Skills, Knowledge: Valid Class C Driver’s License.
• Education: High School graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure environment for the Psych department, patients, visitors and hospital staff.
• Assist in controlling violent individuals and patrol parking lots.
• Protect the Medical Center building, assets and premises as assigned.
• Report problems and participate as an active member of the fire brigade.

Assist in controlling any violent patients, visitors, or employees. Responsible for controlling visitors, patrolling parking lots, assuring that vehicles are correctly parked. Patrol area and report any problems. Serves as an active member of the fire brigade. Protect the Medical Center building, assets, and premises as assigned.
