Job summary

K-Solv Group in Texas seeks a vigilant security professional to monitor plant premises, manage access, and enforce safety and security policies during the Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM shift.

You will patrol the facility, operate CCTV, respond to alarms, file detailed incident reports, and assist visitors as needed, while maintaining records and coordinating with local authorities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in a security role preferred.
• Must possess a valid TWIC Card.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and write at a basic level; safety-sensitive criteria apply.

Responsibilities

• Monitor activity of people to enforce security and safety rules.
• Patrol the facility to identify security risks.
• Verify credentials and log visitors, deliveries, and contractors.
• Operate CCTV and report suspicious activity.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies, coordinating with authorities.
• Inspect entry points and restricted areas for security.

Job description

K‑Solv has the ability to bring in many different petroleum streams for blending. We take the streams that, by themselves, could not be utilized in the gasoline process. With our own lab and numerous tanks, we are able to blend these streams together and make them acceptable for gasoline blend stock. This allows us to turn our customers’ off‑spec fuels into something valuable, thereby, reducing waste cost and turning your off‑spec stream into revenue.

Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 6:00AM‑6:00PM

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor and observe the activity of employees, customers, and guests within the plant premises to ensure compliance with security and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify and address potential security risks or breaches.
• Control access to the plant by verifying credentials and maintaining detailed records of visitors, deliveries, and contractors.
• Operate surveillance systems, including CCTV, to detect and report any suspicious behavior or incidents.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies, including coordinating with law enforcement or emergency personnel if necessary.
• Perform inspections of entry points, exits, and restricted areas to ensure they are properly secured.
• Enforce company policies and procedures related to safety, security, and visitor conduct.
• Prepare detailed incident reports for any security or safety issues encountered during the shift.
• Assist employees, customers, and guests with directions, general inquiries, or emergencies as needed.
• Participate in regular safety and security training to stay updated on best practices and company standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Prior experience in a security role
• Valid TWIC Card required
• Valid driver’s license
• Basic reading and writing skills
• Must be able to meet criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards
