Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Security Guard in Alabama to protect residents, team members, visitors, and property through patrols, camera monitoring, access control, and life-safety systems.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior security or related experience preferred. A valid driver’s license and CPR/AED/First Aid certifications (or within three months) are required. Competitive benefits are provided with a starting hourly pay range of $17.00–$21.29.

Qualifications

• Monitor security cameras, control access points, and respond to incidents.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, fire alarms, and security incidents.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter misconduct and promote safety.

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Security Guard position.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of residents, team members, visitors, and property through proactive patrols, monitoring security cameras, access control, and other life-safety systems. Responds promptly to medical emergencies, fire alarms, and security incidents while maintaining a visible presence to deter misconduct and proactively promote a safe and secure environment.

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, emergency services, or a related field (preferred)
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
• Must possess and maintain current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (or obtain within three months of employment)
