Job summary

Join MECU Credit Union at the Hamilton Branch as a part-time Greeter. You will welcomed members, sign them in, direct them to the right areas, and help maintain a safe, hospitable branch environment.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED and 3+ years in security, with a preference for experience in fire/police. The role features weekend shifts and competitive hourly pay, with a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three (3) years of security experience required.
• Ten (10) years of fire or police experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and electronic devices.
• Attend to the initial/basic needs of members and greet/sign-in members.
• Direct members to appropriate areas and ensure a safe, hospitable branch environment.

Position Summary

With minimal supervision, responsibility for monitoring premises, electronic devices, and attending to the initial/basic needs of members. Vigilant in ensuring that the branch operates in a safe, secure, and hospitable environment. Greets, signs in members and directs them to the appropriate areas of the branch as the Director of First Impression. Watchful of building and surroundings area to ensure safe transition as staff opens and closes the branch.

Education

• High School Diploma, Required
• General Education Degree (GED), in lieu of H.S. Diploma, Required

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) plus years of security experience, Required
• Minimum ten (10) years of Fire or Police experience, Preferred

Compensation

Salary Range per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

• Greeter (Part-Time) - $15.00 - $19.62

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this position, the successful candidate is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, keyboards or controls; talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms and stoop or kneel. Must regularly lift and/or move files and equipment up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 25 pound objects. Specific vision characteristics required by this position include close vision, adjust focus, and view a computer screen for extended periods of time.
