Job summary

Salesforce seeks a Security Governance professional who can bridge Security & Compliance requirements with Engineering implementation. This role partners with Engineering, Product Security, Legal, and other stakeholders to translate insights into practical, scalable governance.

The successful candidate will evaluate how controls are designed, implemented, operated, and scaled across enterprise systems, and will drive second-line oversight and ongoing risk assessment across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Experience bridging security & compliance requirements with engineering implementations.
• Ability to translate regulatory expectations into technical requirements.
• Strong collaboration across legal, product security, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Bridge Assurance and Engineering - act as technical liaison with multiple stakeholders.
• Evaluate how security and compliance controls are implemented in applications and cloud environments.
• Create the Engineering Feedback Loop to reduce friction and clarify requirements.
• Translate regulatory expectations into clear, actionable technical requirements for engineering teams.
• Develop second-line oversight protocols to monitor controls across engineering teams.
• Understand key platforms, architectures, and security capabilities to aid risk decisions.
• Assess control and risk during M&As and design activation plans.
• Collaborate to translate emerging security requirements into future controls.
• Monitor AI governance and evolving regulatory expectations to anticipate implications.
• Drive change management and enablement to improve compliance adoption.
• Run control incident management with postmortems and root-cause analysis.
• Influence future control design with lessons from implementation.
• Build relationships with security champions to scale governance.
• Report on control reliability and risk trends to leadership.
