Job summary

TeleSign, part of Proximus Global, seeks a Security Governance Specialist to oversee the company’s security program, align with ISO 27001/27701 and SOC 2, and coordinate regulatory compliance. The role acts as the security face to vendors, customers, and partners, driving risk management and policy governance.

The position supports cross-functional teams, develops risk-based controls, and guides security awareness initiatives while maintaining ongoing compliance across the business.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' work experience in Information Security, IT risk management, IT governance or IT audit.
• Experience implementing, supporting, or auditing ISO 27001 & ISO 27701 compliance.
• Experience with SOC 2 report management.
• Strong documentation skills and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate programs to mitigate cybersecurity risk and protect assets.
• Maintain policies, processes, and controls across the Information Security Program.
• Research laws, regulations, and standards to communicate compliance requirements.
• Conduct information security risk assessments and audits.
• Collaborate with leaders to remediate findings and implement solutions.
• Support ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 security practices and awareness programs.
• Provide guidance on information classification and data protection policies.
• Assist in responding to customer security questionnaires during sales cycles.
